Early 16th Century village pub with 18th century additions, reputed to be birthplace of Dick Turpin; the bar displays posters about his life. Six beers are usually available. The restaurant serves excellent meals from an extensive menu and the large bar has a log fire. Ample seating is provided outside, plus a children's play area. Music evening 1st Wednesday of the month. Car meet 3rd Saturday of the month.
