Chris who was instrumental in bringing the Elmdon's last pub back into use as the regenerated renamed Elmdon Dial has passed away. There is talk of an Elm Tree being planted in the village in his honour. The pub will continue to be run by his wife with the same range of beers which currently includes Mighty Oaks's Oscar Wilde Mild, Adnams Bitter, Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Oakham's JHB.
