This pub was shut for a couple of weeks whilst a local couple have taken over running this Greene King pub. Their plans include serving good food and providing more facilities for the local village which may include running a shop from the pub. Already the pub has increased the number of different real ales on offer and has three; IPA, Old Speckled Hen and an H&H Christmas Ale at the moment. It is great to have a local returning with a new village focus again.
